We recently worked with a client who conducted approximately sixty (60) employee and management development and training programs throughout the year. Some programs were offered 6-8 times at three of their sites. The same trainers or consultants were utilized for these programs.
The client’s Human Resources department was skeptical that any cost savings or economies could be realized.
Vendor Management Consulting was able to negotiate a cost per attendee for the programs and set up a blanket purchase order for each trainer/consultant. The end result was an annual savings of $28,000 and a reduction in invoices.
